UNITED STATES MUNICIPAL POLICE ASSOCIATION

What is the United States Municipal Police Association?
The United Sates Municipal Police Association (U.S.M.P.A.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established to assist underfunded municipal law enforcement agencies primarily in the areas of training and equipment.
The U.S.M.P.A. was initially formed as a special project of the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association, which provides similar assistance to underfunded county law enforcement entities. As the need to provide more assistance increased, the association quickly "out grew" its status as a special division of the parent organization. In order to meet a growing demand for its services, the U.S.M.P.A. became a separate body, but with the same mission of providing needed equipment and training to small police departments.
